Sugar-free, Gluten-free fig cake with tahini sauce

Such an amazing recipe I whipped up on my birthday. It was just me and my man and I decided to make a sugar free cake for two!


Here is how I made it:

For the cake

2 eggs

4 figs

1-2 tbs molasses

1/2 coconut flour

1/4 cup nut milk, I used hazelnut

1/4 desiccated coconut

1/4 sugar free muesli mixture or just rolled oats. I used this one

1/4 cup coconut oil

cinnamon to taste

1 tsp baking powder

Preheat oven at 180 degrees celcius. Blend all ingredients together. So simple! Place in a baking form. I used a 20cm diameter form. 

For the tahini sauce 

100 ml Hazelnut milk or oat milk

1 tbs Tahini

1tsp honey or molasses

Blend and top the cake

decorate with some pistachios
